Fønix is a company that for many years has worked on providing and serivices
extinguisher equipment, safety equipment, and equipment for taking up oil(from
sea ect)
The company is also distrubitor on EXIDE batteries. From march 2005 Jón
Slættanes, who founded the company, was the only owner of the company.
In march 2005, Sp/f ConTrade bought Fønix and kept running the same
bussiness. They expanded the company to sell and services safety equipment for
boats.
The company is now also selling
- CUMMINS motors Disel engines
- HOLMATRO safety tools for car crash and such
- DRAEGER smoke diver equpiment and tools for checking gas volume
